Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden reveals competition plans
2018 Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden has revealed his competition plans in a exclusive interview with Nick Miller of Nick’s Strength and Power.
Shawn was at the 2019 Olympia Weekend, but not as a competitor due to his suspension.
After giving his prediction on who will win the 2019 Mr. Olympia, Shawn revealed his future plans.
Regarding his condition, Shawn looks like he is not far off stage condition.
Shawn confirmed that he will be traveling to Italy to compete at the Padova Olympia Qualifier. The competition takes place 20-22 September, 2019.
Rhoden joked about his trip to Italy saying that they have great pasta and he would like to spend some time with his fellow Olympia athletes on and off the stage.
As well, Shawn confirmed that he also wants to compete at the Arnold Classic, Ohio in March 2020.
Technically, Shawn does not have to qualify for the Mr. Olympia as he earned lifetime qualification thanks to his 2018 Mr. Olympia victory.
It looks like the reason he wants to compete in Italy is to see how he stands against his fellow competitors.
When asked about the 2020 Mr. Olympia, Shawn Rhoden said he is undecided regarding stepping on the Olympia stage.
Shawn also said the new show organized by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is also a possibility in regards to competing.
