I ran a few prohormones a half year ago and every thing has been fine. Few days ago got tenderness in my right nipple. Felt it last night and there is a hard lump on the under inside part of my nipple. What's the best way to find out of its gyno or breast cancer. Been freaking out and will go see a doctor but idk if some seasoned vets have dealt with this before.

I had the same thoughts years ago when I first had gyno flare up. The only way to know for sure is to have a surgeon take a sample of the tissue. Its pretty spendy even with insurance. Mine came back negative and actually went away after some time off of ph/ds. It still flares up to this day when I don't keep my E2 levels in check but always goes away when things are balanced once again. As Chez stated, only a Dr. can tell you for sure but since you have been using ph/ds Id lean more towards thinking its just gyno.

Can I go to my normal physician or do I need to go too a specialist

I thought I had breast cancer a few years ago (hard lump under my nipple). The doctor took a needle biopsy and it came back as cancerous. It scared the living crap out of me. I had it removed of course and it was tested and came back benign (thank God). I found out later that needle biopsy's often distort the tissue so that it looks cancerous when it's not. Since then I have developed a similar lump under my right nipple. I still have it. As long as I keep my estrogen levels in check it's almost imperceptible otherwise it grows and gets very tender. It is kind of a estrogen barometer.

I honestly wouldn't go to the doc for that, but that's just me... I mean you likely have 24hrs to live. Jk More than likely just a simple hormonal imbalance.. too much e2. Take some nolva 20mg daily until it subsides. In the rare event it were cancer, nolva is for the use of treating breast cancer anyways.

This is just another reason to get blood work done every 3-6 months. Be proactive not reactive with your health.
