Poll above to! dont forget!
In order to "gain muscle", you need to stress the muscle.... ie; heavy squats. Bmx will help to a degree but more of a toner/cardio move such as stationary biking.
Yes answer like these are what im looking for, thank you chip.Originally Posted by chip 086

There's absolutely no replacement for heavy squats & deads come in right behind them.
Focus on form with deads as anything other than proper will screw your back up for life!Originally Posted by The Neck

Super-DMZ Rx! I gained 10 lbs. in just four weeks!
Don't mean to jack your post ION4 hope u don't mind me asking this here. But I hear this all the time. People want to get big and everyone post dead lifts and squats. Squats are for legs and dead lifts for back so how do these two exercises get you big? You have to work each body part for it to grow so why do I hear these two exercises so much?
Another thing to keep in mind is that exercises work multiple muscle groups.
In example for squats: http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...s/BBSquat.html
Notice that there is more being worked during a squat than just quads.
Multiple muscle groups are being activated.
Same with deadlifts: http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...BDeadlift.html
Thus, more muscle groups being activated = more increased GH and test levels = increased rates of hypertrophy= getting bigger.
