Hi guys (and girls), just got my bottle of Osta RX from Iron Mag Labs last night and am excited to be running this log. Thanks to Chez and the crew and to IML for this opportunity!

Some of you may know me from another forum or 2 but I usually am just reading and following along and learning more than posting. Lately I have been learning about SARMs and how they can enhance the physique in both men and women.

A bit about me:
Lifting hard and eating good for about 8-9 years now. I am 6' and started out at 145 and not very strong...guess I am naturally skinny? Compound lifts and lots of calories have added about 40 lbs to my frame and some muscle, too. You can always be bigger and leaner right?

Weighed in this morning at 182 lbs and used the crappy omron hand held body fat thing and it read 14.9%

Cycle goal: RECOMP - lose some bodyfat and add some strength + muscle
Eating lowish carb on off days under 100 and bumping the calories and carbs on lifting days. Usually eat pretty clean, eggs, salmon, beef, peanut butter, oats, veggies, but do cheat occasionally.

Only supps are my staples: Whey protein, fish oil, Bioastin, creatine, and vitamins.

Currently lifting 3 days per week almost all compound, maybe add an arm/calf day in. Cardio is usually walking or biking outside as I have a frisky dog that demands regular exercise. A good influence I guess!

Osta Rx™ is a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator. A SARM is exactly what it sounds like: a compound (not an anabolic steroid) which has the ability to stimulate the androgen receptor (much the same way as anabolic steroids). Osta Rx™ is an orally active (and highly bioavailable) selective agonist for androgen receptors which was shown to have anabolic effects in muscle and bone tissue. It has been shown to have no measurable effect on lutenizing hormone (LH) or follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), but it has been shown to have some effect on prostate weight, with an androgenic potency around 1/3rd of its anabolic potency. Still, this is a good trade-off, because it’s anabolic effect has been measured to be roughly the same as testosterone. It has also been shown to produce dose-dependent increases in bone mineral density and mechanical strength in addition to being able decrease body fat and increase lean body mass.


I will start the log with yesterday: no lifting but 1 hr bike ride. Dog was super excited and pulled me for the first 15 mins or so and I didn't pedal then so I guess its really 45 mins LISS cardio and 15 mins of foam rolling/lacrosse ball.

Ok, today is day 1! Dosing 3 caps a day 2 am/1pm.

Took 2 caps and a scoop of whey pre workout. Otherwise fasted.

Workout felt good, too early to tell any effects. Taking it easy on deads and squats since I had a low back flair up a month ago (feels solid now though).
 
Ate alot today, always do on deadlift days it seems. 3400 calories, 135 grams protein, 169g fats, and 300g net carbs.
The 2 bowls of maple granola post workout really added on the carbs and calories but tasted so good.
Dinner was kale salad with mung bean and sunflower sprouts, salmon "meatloaf" and a sweet potato.

Today was 3 caps again. No workout but about 30 mins stretching and foam rolling.
Calories were 2000: 120g protein, 90g fat, 160g carbs Dinner was salmon again, but this time it was those Costco salmon burgers. If you have never tried them and you are near a costco ou have to get some. Awesome on the grill!
No effects to report, but feeling really good today. Muscles are feeling full from all my carbs yesterday.
 
Another 3 caps Osta RX and a solid workout today. 2 caps 1 hr pre workout and 1 with dinner.

Squats 45x15, 95x10, 135x6, 155x5, 165x5, 175x5,5,5,5
Bench 45x15, 135x5, 165x6 185x5,5,5,5
Body weight pullups 10 assisted, 6,7,8,7,6,7 all unassisted

No cardio, but started building a fence, digging holes, etc so I got a bunch of physical activity.

Calories 2566: 120g protein, 123g fat, 250g carbs. Still super hungry feel like I could easily down another thousand calories and I just finished dinner.

3 caps again today, no workout.
Calories were 1976: 110g protein, 114 fat, 136g carbs
Super busy day at work so I didn't drink my usual amount of water. Got a pretty bad headache in the evening that lasted all night. Slept pretty crappy, but chugged water all night and today, and now feel great. Guess thats a reminder to keep hydrated!

Today was another off day.
1 hour bike ride the weather was in the 60s and really nice out.
Changed up my dosing since I was still feeling dehydrated when I woke up: 1 cap with each meal.
Calories were 2030: 113 Protein, 121 fat, and 132 carbs.

Calories were 1976: 110g protein, 114 fat, 136g carbs

Weight is now 180: so down 2 but feeling stronger.
Also been a great mood all week which is not normal for me. Feeling positive and taking care of business!

The mood aspect surprised me, my girlfriend even asked "Why are you being so nice?"

Yesterday was an off day from weights but did some foam rolling. Calories were spot on 1955: 160g protein, 116g fat, and 86g carbs.

Today marks 1 week of 3 caps per day of Osta RX

Weighed in at 179.5lbs and body fat measured 14.1% on the handheld. Down 2.5lbs and .8% bodyfat.
Muscles feeling full and waist is feeling slightly smaller.
No sides, just a bit more thirsty than usual and an overall positive mood.

Workout was awesome but got cut short. This had me pissed for most of the day but oh well. Not a side effect or anything.
Warmup sets felt lighter than usual and I added and extra 10 lbs over what was planned on my squats.

Post workout has some mini reese's peanut butter cups and a bowl of granola cereal. Two of my favorites!

Daily calories were about 2600 including a bunch of carbs.
 
I am surprised how great it makes me feel throughout the day. Not really "alpha" but more motivated than usual and a sort of happy, positive feeling. Not like drugs or anything though.
Back is feeling good, too. Usually throw it out or it flairs up every year or two, but it's never been diagnosed by a doc. Tweaked it a couple months ago but it seems like it is recovering better than normal and feels 100% now. Squats and dead lifts feel better than ever!
 
4/16 off day but 30 mins brisk walking. About 2000 calories and had my 3 caps Osta RX.

4/17 supposed to be training day but got called in to work early. Did a few sets of arms in the evening and had a 45 minute walk. Calories were about 2200 and that included half of one of those new Papa Murphy's pan pizzas. Was really good, but half the pizza with only 1 topping was about 1800 calories and that's not even the family size...

Today workout was:
Squats 45x15, 135x10, 175x5, 195x4,4,4,4
Hanging leg raise x5,5,5,5,5
Incline bench 45x15, 95x10,10
Calories were about 2500
 
Day 11 (Sat)
2000 Calories
45 min bike ride, Reverse lunges 3 sets of 8 at bodyweight, and some hi rep bi/tri super sets. Pump was great.

Day 12 Sunday
1800 calories, 1 hr (maybe a little longer) bike ride, no weights.

Weighed in at 178lbs this morning (monday)
 
Yesterday's calories were about 3000 heavy on the carbs and protein.
Feeling leaner but chest and quads are feeling bigger, too.

Great workout yesterday.

Yesterday was an off day. 1 hr biking and ate about 2000 calories.

Today hit the weights and then 1 hr biking. This morning I weighed in at 179lbs and ate about 2600 calories. Still taking 3 caps Osta RX spread throughout the day.

Workout felt great, strength feels up too.

4/24 off day, 1800 calories, and 30 mins brisk walking. Traps are sore from going heavy on the DL yesterday!
Started feeling like I am fighting off a cold or something in the afternoon. Really tired and a killer headache that I just can't shake.

4/25 Weight is steady around 179 lbs and that's after eating a bit more than usual the last few days. Still feel exhausted and like I might be getting sick. Felt better after a quick workout, but worse after being at work all day. No appetite, but calories were still around 2400.
 
Sounds like lethargy to me . I went through the same thing last year and reading different posts from other people it seems like right around around the third maybe the 4th week of cycle come down with a maybe flu symptoms but not really the flu cold symptoms but not really a cold so just my experience anyway

Was tired but felt better after the workout.
Slept 9+ hrs last night, maxed out my vitamin D and feel way better this morning.

Thanks, Only (minor) side I have noticed is increased thirst. Not a big deal and might not even be from the osta rx...
 
Sorry for the lack of updates, I just got an epic new job so things are a little crazy for me right now. Yesterday was my first day. ;)
Switching up my training from 3x 1.5 hr workouts per week to working out daily on my lunchbreak at the new job.

4/26 off day 1800 calories
4/27 off day 1800 calories 1 hr bike ride
4/28 off day (supposed to be workout day :mad: but it was first day of work) 2200 calories
