Photos and videos of 2019 Mr Olympia Brandon Curry have circulated throughout social media from the man of the hour, himself. Brandon continues to be one of the most popular bodybuilders in the world, commanding a legion of faithful fans who want to see him battle for the top titles in the sport. His rise to fame started in 2018 when he placed Top 5 at the Olympia and from there he had a super impressive year in 2019, winning both the Arnold Classic and the Olympia. That year, Curry had two battles with William “The Conqueror” Bonac. First, they battled in Columbus, and then they rematched in Las Vegas. Both times, these warriors battled to the end, creating one of the most exciting rivalries in bodybuilding history. But this rivalry was based on good sportsmanship. They didn’t trash-talk or resort to childish tactics on stage. As a result, the media didn’t really capitalize on the competitiveness at play, but the fans loved every second of it.

Sam Sulek took to social media to hint at a big announcement. At the end of the video, a voice sounding very much like Chris Bumstead can be heard. Another twist in the story is that Sam began erasing older posts on Instagram. This has been said was done to start out fresh and leave any semblance of the past as an afterthought. We mustn’t forget that once upon a time Sulek worked with Hosstile Supps and may have repped other brands as a customer. I, personally, think it’s kind of weak to erase old posts because you’re not just removing any ties to other companies, but you’re also erasing the comments that made them go viral.

Over the course of the last ten years we’ve had the opportunity to see how several men take to being the best bodybuilder in the world. Unlike the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s, where one champion ruled most of each decade, the sport has been able to see how several different guys held the title over the last ten years. If we go back exactly one decade ago, we’d be in 2015. At that point, the sport had Phil Heath. Phil emerged from the Jay and Ronnie eras to herald in something purportedly new.
