Your hormones finally kick in???

I'm week three of my halo and cyano stack and either halo really takes that long to kick in or, the cyano is just that fucking awesome. Either way, the strength gains and the total alpha male aura you get in the gym is the best fucking thing ever. I wish I felt like this all the time.

Also, if anyone has any advice on how to lose weight when you have a thyroid problem i'd love to hear it.

Is it a documented thyroid problem? Or just an assumption that its a problem because u struggle with losing fat?

It's documented, and i have a prescription for it that i take everyday that doesn't work.

What's the info on ur body. Height, weight, age, years working out seriously , proteins fat carbs, training.

I always like to look at the big picture when someone says they can't lose/gain or meds aren't working.

It sounds like the thyroid med you are currently taking isn't the correct prescription for you. If it was the correct med your thyroid would be regulated and weight loss or gain should not be an issue. I assume since weight loss is the issue you have hypothyroidism? Have you seen a specialist for this? How many different meds have you tried? You might want to ask your Dr. about having a compounding pharmacy make your med custom for your needs.......this is if you have tried a number of standard thyroid meds in the past.

I'm 22, 5'7 and i weigh 205. I work out 4-5 days a week. Cardio with every work out. I keep my calories about 2-000 a day with 40% protein, same amount carbs and 20% fat. I've been training seriously for a couple years now, and honestly i'll be a little over weight for a while and then i'll be fit and slim for a while, but i can't get the weight off these days.

Sounds like ur not eating enough...

I'm 5'6 and 205-210 depending on time of day and I'm at 3400 calories a day and getting leaner.

Be honest. What are ur sources for protein carbs and fat.

To roadstarpete, you are correct on the hypothyroidism. I've been taking different meds since i was little so i've been on a few. And, as for a specialist i just see my regular doctor every couple of months for blood work. I saw her about two weeks ago, explained to her about the weight and she said it might be because i was taking generics so i got put on synthroid which is one of the most popular ones. If nothing changes by the next time i see her i'll definitely be asking about the compound pharmacy.

And to anabolic insider:

Meal one: Quaker oatmeal, sometimes with milk sometimes with out. 2-3oz of chicken

Meal two: Generally is my post workout shake with milk and a little peanut butter for taste

Meal three: 2-3oz of chicken, one slice of mild cheddar cheese and one slice of the 45 calorie sara lee whole grain bread

Days i have class, i'll eat one of the carb conscious supreme protein bars. I have a couple 3 hour classes so i'll eat it half way through

Meal four: Usually as of lately the progresso 100 calorie soup, two servings in a can, 10-12 grams of carbs and 7-8 grams of protein

Meal five: The whole chunk white tuna can, i'll eat the whole thing

My last post has to be approved by a mod until it can be viewed? But everything's in it

Your eating relatively clean .. it can definitely be tweaked. Even though its really yummy I would delete the supreme bar. It's basically a candy bar with protein.

I know its hard cause ur a student but it really seems like ur not eating enough.. u and I are roughly the specs. But by what ur caloric intake is it means ur either chubbier than u think u are. Or a genetic god to be able to hold let's say 180lbs of muscle while only eating 2000 cals a day.

For diet advise. I recommend u talk to pj Braun (sponsored IML athlete) so that after ur doc gets ur meds correct .. pj can help u get ur diet in correct order for ur goals. The guy is a miracle worker. A friend and a great guy.

Hmmmm...Jealous......I finally started my 1st PH stack last Sunday (LGI Halo-25) and by Sunday night I was showing symptoms of allergic reaction to it.....I had to stop taking it Wednesday due to a bad rash that was breaking out............Seems like it is slowly starting to clear up now......

Not yet, from everything I've read and heard the thyroid medicine is t4 which takes about 4 weeks to start seeing results and since I just got moved onto the synthroid I figure I'll give it two months so I'll have a better idea of if it's making a difference from the generic medicine

Figured I'd give this a bump...4 months ago i switched my thyroid meds from synthroid (t4) to generic cytomel (t3) and since then I've dropped 15lbs and 4 inches off my waist. Pretty nice to finally lose weight
