5a reductase inhibitor (Propecia, Dutasteride, Finasteride, etc) interactions

Hi Guys,

I wanted to know if there is anything to keep in my with any of the prohormones if you are already taking a drug such as finasteride. Based on some limited research I can say that Epi-Andro would probably not be a good idea. What about Halo and 1Andro for example? I think 4Andro would convert to testosterone, but the inhibitor would block the conversion to DHT?

most IML products contain DHT derived compounds...so they would render 5a-reductase inhibitors useless for the purpose there designed as there is no conversion..in something like 1-andro were the conversion rate is low a 5a drug would make that compound most likely ineffective...
