After searching around for advice I've started out my first halo cycle.

Me -
Age: 21
Weight: 220lbs ~ 21%bf (I know... better than the 275lb I was before I ever lifted though!)

Going to do 5 weeks on for the first cycle, playing it safe to start and didn't want to go for the 6 just yet that everyone recommended.

Weeks 1-10: Cycle support @ 3 caps ed
Weeks 2-6: Halo @ 50/50/50/75/75 + Anabolic Matrix @ 2 caps ed
Weeks 7-10: Torem @ 90/60/30/30 + Ultra Male @ 1 cap ed
Weeks 11-12: E-blocker Rx @ 3 caps ed

Diet is maintenance calories (3100 seems to be the sweet spot for me currently - I don't have the greatest metabolism) and then I'll probably up it by around 300 through PCT just to be safe. Shooting for a recomp with some new lean mass in there, I know a bulk would be fun but I just can't stand to put on any more fat for now. Don't want to crush the metabolism going on a hardcore cut either.

I just started the halo yesterday, so far so good with no sides (I should hope not so soon!). Can't wait for another 10 days or so when it really starts kicking in. I train with tonyfortress who just posted his Osta log here, so it should be interesting to compare what kind of results we get even though we're such different body types.

at 220 lbs it's unlikely you'll get much out of 50mg daily, halo is pretty subtle. I'd say 75mg all the way through, but be your own judge. Also usually takes about 3 weeks or so to kick in fully. You'd be fine running it 6 wks safely if you wanted, full warnings and precautions included, but that's your decision to make. Have fun, enjoy your cycle!

Can you elaborate on that? Curious why he wouldn't get much out of 50mg at 21%bf, not beefin just curious!

Here's logs on 50mg halo;
http://www.ironmaglabs.com/forums/showthread.php/1343-It-has-begun
and
http://www.ironmaglabs.com/forums/showthread.php/1044-Halo-Extreme-Cycle-Log!-(first-ph)

Both were generally unsuccessful, and left the users with something more to be desired. I've just never seen a solid log of halo at 50mg. 75mg for 6 weeks is a pretty safe standard norm since it takes 3-4 weeks to fully get goin, I've ran it at 100 for four weeks and last two at 75, but ultimately think that 75 all the way through would have been just as good

It's not about his bf%, it's a simple weight to dosage ratio. 50mg too weak for 220 lb man is what I'm speculating

Word

Makes sense I guess, I was just tryin' to play it safe (Maybe too safe, I got enough SERMs on hand for a football team). The 50mg has been fine for these first few days so I might as well kick up to 75mg now while it's still early in the cycle to maximize gains. Thanks for the input

Week 1 coming to an end, so far so good! No sides to speak of yet, the only thing I've really noticed is this occasional "weird" (Not painful) feeling in my balls from time to time, not sure if that could be the tribulus in the AM or what. I've also noticed a very slight headache in the mornings after my dose, but this may be from a lack of caffeine as well, it seems to go away petty quick.

In the gym I seem to get an alpha feeling while lifting and my endurance has already gone up a bit. Lifts just started to show an increase yesterday - mainly in number of reps I can do at any given weight, but my legs today felt stronger, so I guess the strength is coming as well.

I've been doing the 75mg daily as suggested and I seem to be tolerating it just fine so far, I plan on continuing like this for 5 more weeks before starting PCT. Next week should be even more interesting...

Excellent, glad to hear the tingling in my balls is normal. I wasn't sure if it would be from shutdown that early so I didn't know what it may have been. I've quit caffeine many a time before, it's probably because I had just stopped running a fat burner before going on cycle which had some caff in it. No biggee I guess. Last time I checked my bp on Friday it was 135/80, which is borderline high but as long as it doesn't get above that I'll be happy.

caffeine detox can certainly cause headaches... if you want, you can bump the doses down gradually, daily.... may avoid headaches that way, like a cup a day for a few days, then half a cup, then nothing. A cup of coffee shouldn't kill u.

The weird ball tingling sensation is ur testicles shutting down, cuz you're putting exogenous (external) hormones into your system. Nothing to worry about, completely normal, the PCT is to get that process back to full function again so u'll be fine after PCT

is atrophy always gonna be present with shutdown? like are they gonna diminish in the next week or so?

A quick note on my weight...

Weighed in at 221.bs @ 21.5% bf according to my scale (Not that accurate, but it's consistent, so it does work for tracking change) before starting.

This morning I was 227lbs @ 22.9%, I account the fat % gain mainly to slipping a little with my diet, I went to a birthday party the other night and had a little cake - oh well, better than a little alcohol! I'll get some more numbers the end of the week after getting back on the diet and will report back.

Get your bf measured.... sounds like a shitty scale.

Day 8 done and still feeling good. Workouts continue to be going a little longer and stronger (no homo) than usual. No "huge" changes yet, but I can definitely feel it starting to kick in. I did arms yesterday and was definitely able to go higher than usual with my EZ curls (Last set with 3 reps @115lbs which is a new PR for me). Provided my shoulder stays happy I hope to have a good chest workout on Thursday and am looking forward to some good numbers there.

What are everyone's opinions on trying to run Osta starting during PCT? I've seen at least one log of someone else who did with good results, but others claim it's a bad idea due to it's potential suppression and the potential to screw up PCT. It seems like a good way to ease of the halo and provide a good way to keep gains and continue to lean out, but I wouldn't want to risk messing up PCT either.

And just run 2 caps daily for the recommended 4 weeks, or run it till the bottle is gone? And yes, I plan on torem for my PCT and have Clomid available as well.

Week 2 winding down now, things still going great with no sides noticed at all. I've cut the calories a bit since starting and plan on continuing this way through the rest of the cycle. I'm eating 2700-2800 cals daily with macros roughly 40/40/20. This puts me about 400 below maintenance, so obviously any strength/muscle gains made while cutting are pure profit.

Here is what I did on the bench today, numbers obviously aren't stellar for someone my size, but we all start somewhere. Strength has gone up just a bit on all my lifts, but nothing drastic yet. I'll be happy if I can get the bench up to 2501RM and 215x5 by the end of the cycle.

If anyone is interested here is what my weight has been since starting, the quick gain from the 2/20 to 2/27 was after a bad night on the diet and what I'm sure was a little water weight from coming off some OxyElite beforehand. My weigh in today was after being strict on my diet all week so it's definitely a solid 2.5-3lbs of lean gains so far.

This will be the tail end of week 4, and I think I'm going to end it here and start PCT a little earlier than planned. Beginning week 3 I felt the lethargy kicking in and it's to the point now where I barely want to get up in the morning and feel like zombie until I go to sleep again at night (I do get a solid 8 hours every night). I never experienced any other bad sides like acne, headaches, back pumps, or otherwise, it was just the lethargy that got to me.

To sum up how it went each week: Week 1 it was working its way in, didn't feel much either way, maybe some slight effects at the end of the week. Week 2 was probably the best, I started noticing the strength gains right away and was getting extra energy in the gym, especially noticing the euphoric "alpha" sensation while lifting. Week 3 the lethargy began kicking in and I ended up taking 4 days off from the gym to let my tendons catch up from longer workouts with heavier weights weight (I was just a wee bit sore to say the least). Week 4 was the worst with the lethargy, and I wasn't even getting the rush while in the gym anymore (This stopped in week 3), even yawning throughout my workouts to stay awake lol.

Having said all that, I still saw good results. I stayed in a caloric deficit of roughly 400cals daily and still managed to go up ~4.5lbs while dropping an inch on my waist. My bench went up 20lbs and my squat gained 35lbs, certainly nothing to complain about while cutting!

I already have a bottle of 4-Andro on the way for my next cycle, I think the lack of a test base was what killed my energy so bad and put me in such a funk. I'm going to start my PCT today, and run the Torem at a little lower dosage than originally planed due to running a shorter cycle than planed. I'll also be starting up my Osta once it arrives at 2 caps daily and run it until the bottle is out.

I haven't quite decided what I'll run next, but MDE or SDMZ are definitely tempting, whatever it I do decide run will definitely be stacked with the 4-Andro to keep energy/mood going. Next cycle will probably be late April or early May, can't wait!

On the super strong ph products I've always got bad lethargy late in the cycle. At week three I start melatonin 30 minutes before bed and just making sure I get extra sleep.

I am running Halo at 3 day. At the end of the second week I starting feeling some lethargy and appetite way down. I started 1 Andro at the start of week three by the time I was on it two days I was feeling great. It is a week later now and I killed my workouts this week. I also am on test cyp. at 100ml every 5 days. When I did a dmz cycle back in November I felt like total shit the last two weeks of it. I am going to go 6 weeks on this halo cycle. Anyway the 1 andro made a huge difference for me just thought I would pass it along.

I wonder what the 1 andro contains that made you feel better? I've got the stuff to start my first 6 week halo cycle but all this talk about lethargy has got me a little worried. I have a high demanding, very physical job and cannot afford to be feeling like shit at work for 12 hours a day. I have heard that DHEA helps combat the lethargy, but this is the first I've heard of stacking another PH and it helping. Could ay of you IML guys shed some light on this?

Have you read the product information for 1 Andro.

It is considered a dry DHEA. That is my understanding.

4 Andro my work better but I think that is what they came out with them for was to stack with something else.

It's the boost in test that makes you feel better, I believe 1-andro converts into straight testosterone.

I appreciate everyone's responses, but I started my Osta today and am looking forward to seeing how that goes in comparison to the hdrol. I'll be sure to run some type of test base with my next cycle and hope for some better energy, but I'm still by no means "disappointed" with what my first cycle did for me.

Don't let the lethargy hold you back. I'm on my first cycle ever now with Halo. You def are lethargic when you get home from work but are able to compose yourself throughout the day. I'm in the middle of week 2. When I'm in the gym I have all kinds of energy when I'm at work I have normal energy when I get home I eat watch an hour of tv and I'm out. Picking up some DHEA tomorrow to see if I can combat it a little so I have some time to play with the dogs and do house chores.

Middle of week 2 I felt great, it was weeks 3 and 4 that the lethargy started kicking in.
