First Prohormone Run: Halo Extreme Log

Day 29:

A training day. It went very well, as usual...but I am starting to feel like I am "past the peak" of the cycle. Users of other halodrol clones in other logs often mentioned that they felt like the 3rd and 4th weeks were the "peak," so I am not surprised. I am still gaining strength--and the rate of strength gain really hasn't decreased--I just feel "past the peak." It's hard to describe.

I increased my calories by 65 calories from carbohydrates (25g of dried fruit and 1/4 of a whole wheat pita).
That's why people often run Halo for 6 weeks. It'd be kind of a bummer to have it peak in the 4th week and then just stop, haha! Now you can just enjoy the ride!

BTW: There is something that I wanted to report:

Over the past week or so, I have started to feel like my nipples feel "different." They feel a bit more sensitive than they did before the cycle. They don't "hurt," but they do feel a bit more sensitive. At first, I thought that it was just that my pecs were getting bigger and pushing my nipples against my shirt more (lol), but now I am convinced that they do in fact feel more sensitive than they did before.

When I touch them, they don't hurt--they just feel sensitive, especially the top part of the nipple--the "peak" for lack of proper terminology.

Also, I feel it much more on my left nipple than on my right nipple. Even before the cycle, I felt like I might have had a bit of hard growth under the left nipple (this is my first hormonal supplement, so it must have been naturally occuring). At first I did not think that this could be gyno because the photos of gyno that I have seen look like there is a lump of hard tissue behind the nipple at the bottom of the pec--my chest does not look like that. Furthermore, I'm told that gyno "hurts"--that just having your shirt rub against it can be painful; like I said, it is currently not painful.

However, the odd sensation in my nipples, along with the feeling that something may be deep underneath the left nipple, makes me wonder.

Could this be gyno? If so, should I try some letrozole?
 
BTW: I currently have E Control RX and Nolvadex on hand, but I can get letrozole in a day or two...not sure if that affects anyone's recommendations.
 
I don't think it's anything to worry about yet...but stop touching them! That can just irritate the situation. Go ahead and start running 3 caps of E-Control daily (am, mid-day, pm). I've seen this take care of the sensitivity issue countless times, including on myself. Just run the E-Control all the way through your PCT, don't stress about the situation, and don't touch your nipps...you should be fine. :)

Home scale: 191.8
Gym scale: 191.8

Today was a training day. I was higher up in weight than I had anticipated. I maintained the same calorie level.
 
Day 31:

Today was an off day. Per ebfitness' recommendations, I started taking 3 E-Control RX Capsules per day today. Let's see what happens...

That's fine. E-Control has a short half life, so it's best to be spread out through out the day.

A training day. I made very impressive progress, as usual.

I continued taking the E-Control RX. I think that some of the nipple sensitivity has been reduced.

I did not increase calories today, but I will likely increase calories on my next training day.

OK, good to know. Does it matter if I take it at the same time as the Halo Extreme, or when I take Cycle Support, etc.?

It's fine taking it at the same time as your PH's, but just to be on the safe side, I don't like taking it at the same time as ACS. It probably doesn't make a difference, I'm just paranoid about the milk thistle affecting absorption of anything that has an influence on hormones...but it probably (if at all) only applies to methylated PH's.

Day 33:

An off day.

However, I changed my diet a bit. Instead of eating the 1/4 pita that I added recently, I removed the 1/4 whole wheat pita and instead increased my carb intake at lunch and dinner (27 calories from carbs increase at both meals). By increasing meal carbs while also removing the pita, I ended up with an increase in 18 calories from carbohydrates.

Gym scale: 190.7/8

I've been walking a lot recently, so combined with not increasing my calories, I feel like I have lost a bit of weight...and the scale reflected that. Starting E Control RX may have had something to do with it, too. That's the only variable that has changed.

I increased calories by adding another 1/4 whole wheat pita, resulting in an increase of 45 calories from carbohydrates.

Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Today was a training day. Although I still made progress, I feel like the effects may be fading a bit--my lifts did not go up as much on every exercise as I had predicted. I have been very busy lately, so perhaps I am just overly tired...but today I definitely felt like my cycle is coming to an end.

I increased my calories today by adding 5 grams of peanut butter to my training day diet.

Just don't let PCT get in your head too much. Some people automatically assume they'll be weaker with less focus and energy, next it's thinking they're smaller/fatter. Just focus on all those good test boosters, AIs, PWOs, and good foods fueling your workouts. Think big, lean, and strong...right up till your next cycle, haha!

I know that keeping the same intensity that I had on cycle during PCT is critical for maintaining gains. I've been gradually adding my calories and tracking my diet, as well as logging my workouts, so I know where I am going as the cycle ends. I'll definitely be fighting to maintain what I built.
 
Day 36:

Today was an off day. After I had a little milk, I decided to weigh myself at home: 192.4. It was after I had started breakfast, so I won't count it as an "official" weigh-in.

I was very hungry today for some reason, so I added 1/2 whole wheat pita and 5 grams of peanut butter to my off day diet plan today.

Today was a training day, and it went very well--just like earlier in the cycle. Perhaps the other training days that recently went not as well as I had hoped were that way because I was tired.

I was hungry as usual, so I increased my calories from carbohydrates by 50 on training days today.

Tomorrow is another training day. I'm excited.

Yeah, I would, especially being so close to the end of your cycle.

Today was a training day (leg day #2), and it went well. I added 5 grams of peanut butter to my training day diet today.

PCT starts on Sunday, so only a few more days left. I'll have to remember to weigh myself tomorrow to see where I am.

Gym Scale: 192.7

Today was a cardio, abs, and shoulder stability day. I added 1/2 whole wheat pita and 10 grams of peanut butter to my cardio day diet plan today. Tomorrow (an off day) is the last day of the cycle. So far, I am more than pleased with the results.

Gym Scale: 192.7
