Let's see what your grocery list and receipts look like..

I see a lot of members here saying they take in 3000+ calories and I'm sure some take in more on a bulk.
I'd like an idea of what everyone is bringing home and cookin', & the price that comes along with it. (averages & guesstimates are cool)

Also if anyone here wants to post up their meal plan, that'd be cool too. I've gone through multiple diets for cutting weight and lean gains but I've never gone on a straight bulk. I've tried nutrition plans via bodybuilding's website but what I eat never changes. It's just adjustments of macros and calories.

If you do post your meal plan, please post your goal too. Obviously someone who's cutting isn't going to be taking in the same as someone who's trying to add some mass, & although I feel we'll all be able to tell the goal, you never know. I learn new things on a regular basis.

For Poll - Please base your answer on yourself alone.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who puts food on the table for the family, but not everyone in the family is eating like we do!

Last time I checked it was around $600 monthly for me and my wife.

For a bulk I need around 2.5lbs of meat daily plus shakes.

Mines around 300 for myself including shakes.

For my bulking cycle I take in about 2lbs of meat and 2.5lbs of spinich and fruit along with shakes that consist of milk, peanut butter (crunchy since it has less fat content), fruit, and protein powder.

I have no clue what the groceries cost; my girl does all the shopping...I HATE shopping! She just randomly asks me for money and I give it to her.

I had to ask my wife about the cost. She said around 300-350 a month. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Nothing canned unless time gets away from me. I buy my fruits and veggis fresh and cook them as needed but mostly just eat them fresh. I do eat canned tuna, but only the solid white albacore. I grill 10 lbs of chicken breast each week for my meals between breakfast and dinner. Usallay have the chicken sliced up an on salad. Breakfast is 3-4 egg omolete with one cup of diced veggies and mozzarella cheese. Dinner is usally what ever the wife fixes, this helps keep the peace.

$300 a month plus supps.

I work according to a budget plan, I normally spend $200 per month for on groceries.

Roughly 350 to 400 a month depending, for just myself, not including the mandatory supplements

I think there is a tendency for people to greatly exaggerate what they are actually consuming on a day to day basis. A lot of people throw large numbers around like its no big deal... most people don't realize how hard it is to actually hit 3500+ calories while eating clean... and I guarantee many aren't reaching that number :)

to put it frankly, if people kept up with the diets they boast, their physique would be vastly different.... :D
