I have been lurking around this site for a while now reading up on Halo and peoples expierences with it. I plan on running the Halo stack plus one extra bottle of Halo so i can run it for six weeks at 75. For PCT i plan on using the supplied IML PCT that is included. A little background about me im 28 and a former college football player who has been consistently training for the last 12 years. I did a good amout of powerlifting while i was in college and still continue with that style of training even though i dont compete or have any plans to in the future. I did some epi and m1t while i was in college and like a lot of young men i did not use the proper on cycle supps or PCT. For the last 5 or so years i have been using pre workout, creatine and bcaa based post work out, protein and a variety of test boosters. My question is regarding the PCT portion of my Halo run. I know from reading a ton about Halo that peoples opinions regarding SERM and the IML PCT differ. Due to the gray area surrounding the legality of SERMs and my career path they are not an option. I would like to hear from people who have run Halo and the IML PCT and what there expierence was like. Was it good? Did you have issues with it? Has anyone had any blood work done following the use of this PCT? Does anyone have any concerns using this PCT versus a SERM? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. After during a ton of research im really excited to see what Halo can do for me.
 
I feel that Halo will blow your expectations out of the water at 75mg ed for 6 weeks. Be ready to break personal records in the gym. Also get ready to enjoy the best pumps ever! I always use a SERM so I cant give you the info you are looking for. I am wondering what would keep a person from using a SERM? You are using a PH for God sake....why draw the line at a SERM???
 
Simply because Halo is a legal over the counter supplement. SERMS are in the gray area in terms of legality especially when it changes from possesion of one to consumption of one. This is why they are labeled for research use only and not for human consumption. Due to my career path its my personal choice to only use clearly legal over the counter supps. I am not judging or saying anything adverse about people who do use SERMS just that its my personal choice to not. It would be tough to explain the presence of a prescribtion drug in your system when you dont have a prescription. To make it clear im not saying there is anything wrong with peoples choice to use SERMs just that its not an option for myself
 
I, personally, wouldn't cycle without SERMs. Nor can I recommend you a 6wk 75mg cycle without the proper (imho) cycle ancillaries. If you cannot use SERMs, I recommend you follow the directions on the bottle. 4wks at 2capsules every day - no more than that.

RoadStarPete... nevermind prohormones... according to his OP, this will be his first time. He's already done 2 full blown steroid cycles, being M1T and Epistane - both orally active steroids, not prohormones.
 
Im suprised that your that adamant of the use of a SERM with Halo. There are quite a few posts on here of people running Halo at 75 for six weeks using just the IML stack for PCT due to its non aromatizing nature. I guess i will need to rethink my cycle or the use of a SERM. I apperciate the feedback.

I've been around a little while. I've seen guys hit rock bottom after a Halo cycle (test levels at <50ng/dL , about as much test as your dead 100yo grandma produces), because they thought it was so mild and didn't need a proper PCT. Regardless of whether a product aromatizes or not, imho, safety comes first, and a proper PCT should always be underway before ever considering starting a cycle.
 
I did my first Halo cycle in November. I stuck to recommended IML dosages and PCT (50 mg per day for 28 days). I'm a competitive powerlifter and compete in Masters II (45-49 years old). I saw good gains and didn't get shutdown. I have bloodwork done every 6 weeks (whether on cycle or off). Everything was fine. I'm currently off all PH till March. I think if you stay within recommended dosages, and given your young age, you will be perfectly fine with the IML PCT. In fact, my PRs kept coming even through the 4 weeks of PCT (e-control is the BOMB) and even now. I just hit my previous PR for a double on Monday night (and probably could have gotten 3 or 4 if I had wanted to go to failure).
 
oh, also, when you train like a powerlifter, you actually get natural test boost from training at or above 85% of 1RM. Documented clinical tests have shown that lifting in that range boosts test levels. That's neither here nor there...although I'm sure it plays a role in coming back strong after a PH cycle...

Interesting, I used to always lift heavy, and oddly enough, I had very high test levels, extremely high naturally. Now, after being injured a few times, I don't train quite as heavily, but more so very high volume (20 - 50 rep sets on average), and my test levels have dropped significantly in the last four years from damn near 1200 down to 947nd/dL last Fall.

I've heard placing the muscle under stress for longer periods of time, ie the higher volume sets, helps to release greater amounts of GH. Especially when training the larger muscle groups. Perhaps this is why I have not injured myself in a long time, despite training each muscle group at least three to four times per week.

The high volume sets, I believe, also stimulate great cortisol production than heavy weight, low rep, high rest sets. This would place you in more of a catabolic state which is the bodies way of preventing injury. I actually do higher volume on my accessory days (10-20 reps per set of accessory exercises). On those days, I ingest a ton of Vitamin C to block the cortisol. I think there are other things I could take to block cortisol, but the vitamin C chewables are so tasty :)
 
Biggie thanks for the info i really appreciate it. I did quite a bit of searching about this topic and the phrase or term gray area was pretty much synonomous with the word SERM. I read a very interesting interview with an attorney(i think you may have posed it but i can remember where i read it)about SERMs and legal issues. After getting feedback and doing further research i decided to use Nova for PCT. I will post my whole cycle and supps a little later tonight or tomorrow to get some feedback and advice before i embark on my journey. Again thanks for all the feedback. Its very important to me to have a good grasp on anything before diving in.
 
Got my order today for Orbit Nutrition and the delivery time was super fast and was extremely pleased about that. My cycle will be the common Halo solo cycle of 75mg of Halo everyday for 6 weeks.

Weeks 1-6
Halo everyday at 75mgs or three pills
Cycle Support two pills everyday
Anabolic Matric two pills everyday

Weeks 7-10
Nolva 20mgs everyday
Cycle Support two pills everyday
Anabolic Matrix two pills everyday

I will also be using ON Gold Standard, BSN Cellmass, and I Force Hemavol for pre workout. I was also planning on running I Force Intimidate which is a DAA product that people report really helps them sleeping which is a big problem for me. Does anyone see any problems with me running this product at the same time as im running my Halo cycle? I plan on taking one Halo in the morning, afternoon and then in the evening. Should i just split up the Anabolic Matrix and Cycle Support and take on in the morning and one in the evening when i take my Halo? Thanks and i appreciate the feedback and advice.
 
Ya i was going to take the DAA more for the sleep benefits than as a natty test booster. Ill just save it for my PCT where it will be better utilized
 
You may want to look into ZMA. I take it every night on cycle and off. Id swear it helps me fall asleep. As well, I have used hemavol powder for quite sometime and prefer not to take it on cycle since the pump that halo produces needs no enhancing. The benefits during and after pct are very noticeable when stacked with creatine..... they both help maintain cell volume quite well.

Ditto on the zma. Take every night helps with deeper sleep and more vivid dreams! Love it.

Just FYI....it took almost 2 weeks for me to notice improved focus, and pumps on halo. So maybe just keep your pwo and hemavol going for that 1st period of your cycle. There is no mistaking when it starts kicking in though. Also, I always take a pwo on cycle unless I notice my bp getting a bit too high.
 
Ya sounds good. I have some Hemavol and Craze left so i will probably continue those until they run out or the pumps become too much and i will probably continue the use of my Cellmass for post workout unless something arsises then i will stop it. I took my first dose of Halo this morning and had a leg workout not too long after. Obviously i didnt feel anything after having taken one dose of Halo but i am excited about what the furture holds.
 
I wanted to give a quick update. Today was my fifth day on Halo at 75mg and today was the first day i felt the effect of the product and it hit me like a freight train. I went from feeling nothing on day four to feeling the full impact on day five. Today i hit a bicep/tricep workout and it may have been the most full of blood that i have ever been. I also was able to hit 275 for eight on my last set fo close grip bench which is up from last week. My weight is also up to 219 from 215 four days ago. I usually take Hemavol and Craze pre workout but ran out a few days ago and since i heard about how good the pumps were from Halo alone i didnt order anymore and the pumps and focus today on Halo alone were incredible. I have to admit that i was a little skeptical of Halo just because of all the craze rave reviews of it but i will be the first to admit that this is the real deal. I am only on day five and already feel it so i am excited to see how big and strong i can possible get on this six week journey.
