Tearing up your workouts still while in PCT!

ohhh yeah! I just kind of catch my breath in between sets if I need to. Stopped doing the super sets.. I can feel the weights starting to get heavy so I'm just going to keep trying to do as much as I could do while on cycle

I hear you. I got up to 230 for few reps bench on cycle but barely can get 210 up now. Happily I'm starting a new cycle Nov 8!
 
Any particular reason my triceps seem to not go as far down as Steve Cook's? Or is it because his are just bigger?

I'm sure many on here have met pros. Good question about who's as big as them on here!

I'm still friends with some. I learned tons from Jim Quinn who trained me once.

In Golds in Venice I saw most of them in the great 90s era of bodybuilding. I was amazed at the size! Paul Dillet in person training next to me is enormous.

Some passed away too. Mike Martarrazzo this past August.
You can't change muscle insertions; you can only try to make them bigger...sucks, I know.


I've met and befriended many in the "fitness" industry over the years...seems like we're losing a lot of them lately.
 
PCT Day 10

My friend said during decline bench I'm pushing more forward than I should be. I need to focus on just going straight up. I think my next chest day I'll do some db bench and incline for a change of pace. Back kind of sore though, not sure what from.. One of the rows just not exactly sure when I messed up my form.

Then I did a little bit of forearm work. Is it bad to do like traps/forearms with legs? I usually finish my leg workout out rather quickly and figured I'd throw some of those smaller muscles in there. Or is it better to keep all the blood and the pump down in my legs?

Watched the CT Fletcher I command you to grow part 2 video today with Kai Greene while doing my biceps. Such an awesome video, CT's voice really motivates you. Really loved doing the preacher curls,, didn't want to stop!! Going to start my E-Control tomorrow for days 15-30 and then an additional 14 days after my SERM ends to prevent possible rebound effects.

At my gym they have no preacher curl equipment so I have to use the incline bench with dbs but it works well. :D

185 on the bunch was a struggle to get my reps in but I got 195 for 1 no problem. What's better in your guys opinion, decline or flat, also barbell or dumbbell? Or should I just alternate?

EB, are there any advantages/disadvantages do you know of doing curls with BBs vs. cable?

Curious since I like those best but bbs are ingrained in me

It's such a similar movement, it just comes down to personal preference. But I hear ya, I feel like I HAVE to do BB curls...I just use the cable to chase the pump.
 
Yes that's true, very similar. I suppose the muscle doesn't know if it's a cable or bb. But we do lol.

cables keep constant stress on your muscles.
 
That's why slow negatives are so important with free weights...to keep constant tension on the muscle.
 
Back started acting up on me again during squats today. My friend thinks I might be leaning too far forward and thus putting stress on my lower back. Would it kill me if I switched to machine leg presses for a couple of weeks and also find an alternative for my t bar rows and barbell rows, to give my back a break. Thinking about just doing some hammer-strength rows.
