Ibuprofen really helps alleviate the back pain I get on cycle. Taurine helps a little bit, but I ran out. I went by Kmart but they're generally worthless and never have anything there, so it looks like I need to make a trip to vitamin shoppe or something tomorrow. 1/2 an ibuprofen (100mg) makes the pain go completely away for at least 12 hours if not all day including during heavy squats and deads. The pain can sometimes be constant whether I'm lifting or just sitting around. Anyways, I've seen studies that say ibuprofen can prevent protein synthesis as well as pickle the liver(which sucks since I'm already taking methyls.) so, will half an ibuprofen screw me over, or is it not that big of a deal? Should I just put up with the pain until tomorrow then megadose some taurine? Even taurine doesn't kill off the low back cramp as well as 100mgs of ibuprofen

From personal experience I'd say that 100mg/day is just fine.

100 mg is a very very low does of ibuprofen, especially if its every 12 hours. You should be fine.

Thanks for the responses, you guys. I was worried because I've seen it said that ibuprofen/NSAIDs can blunt protein synthesis. Then again, I doubt it can blunt it enough to counter the effects of a full on ph/ds cycle especially when it's only half a tab every 12 hours or more

100mg is pretty negligible considering a doc prescribes 800mg twice/day. I'd still be implementing advanced cycle support.

I popped 2 yesterday before leg workout to help with knee and back pain/inflammation.

i cant see 100mg of ibuprofen having any negative effects on protein synthesis..i just took 400mg this am...

You really just need to stay away from Acetaminophen/Paracetamol while on cycle...due to the liver toxicity.
