Just got done doing a 4 week run of SDMZ, now on my first week of pct AND I GOT A HERNIA!!! I have to go under the blade next Thursday after which I'll be on a 10lb lifting restriction for six weeks. I gained 12 lbs on the SDMZ...now I can kiss it all goodbye, so frustrating!!!

Sorry, just had to vent.

Dangg man that sucks. but gives you enough time to recover from this stack and have another ready when those 6 weeks are up.

Good luck to ya

Man bro I hate that. I wish you a fast recovery brother.

Sorry about your luck brother, keep us posted on your recovery.

Sorry to hear the news but muscle memory is a wonderful thing. You'll gain that back and thensome when you can get back to normal training. In the meantime, make sure your diet is in order and keep doing regular cardio if you can.

Hernias suck...if had 2...just take it easy and dont push it to fast....good luck..

Sorry to hear that. I have one now, hoping I can hold off surgery.

Rest bro. No need to rush.

good luck man, youll b back soon enough!

Scary shit. I'm always freakin' out and checking for hernias whenever my core gets sore from deads.

This is the second one I've had. I had onr repaired on the right side a couple years ago.
Update- Last friday as I was hobbling down the stairs my pitbull decided to dart between my legs tripping me and when I caught myself I injured my right shoulder. MRI on Tuesday showed a small posterior labrum tear as well as a very large hematoma over my infraspinatus. luckily I have 6 weeks of lifting restriction which will give me plenty of time to rehab my shoulder haha. Other than that surgery went well today so just on bed rest for a few days then I'll start rehabbing.
I do have a question though. After my 6 weeks is up I want to pust some muscle back on as quick as possible then start cutting for a show in march or April. I still have a bottle of the original SDMZ as well as the original Methadrol Ex...which would be the better route???

Man its like it wont stop for u haha...happy your doing better now..but on the good side any way u got good people on your side
to help you push pass all this here...good luck bro..but on your next cycle i'll run dmz to get me right back where i was ..if it was me..

Brother its time to get some rest bubba. Your body is telling you to stop bro.

Oh, I'm getting rest. I have 6 weeks wher I can't lift anything over 10lbs...that's plenty of rest. I just need to get back in teh game as fast as possible afterwards ;)

I had my right side repaired 2 years ago, was back in the gym in 6 weeks although I didn't get crazy with squatting and deadlifting for a good 3 or 4 months. Had the surgery done in January 2010 and was back on stage at the Excalibur in December. I was actually prepping for for a show in October but Muscletech, my sponsor at the time, wanted me to do the Excalibure instead so I pushed my return back a cpl months.

So you would recommend the SDMZ over the MEx to get back into the game when I'm ready? Isn't the MEx a better mass builder than the SDMZ? I'm just curious...

I prefer SDMZ, gains I got from it seemed easier to retain after. Just make sure to run ACS with it and limit time on to 4-6 weeks.

Agreed. SDMZ is one of the best compounds I have ever taken.

I loved the results I got from my 4 week SDMZ cycle, was glad I got through it before I got injured. On my 3rd week of the PCT right now...sucks I can't be in the gym making the post of it. While I was on it I made some good gains and my strength skyrocketed...which may be what exploited my hernia. I actually had to change up some of the exercises I was accustomed to doing because I couldn't load any more plates onto some the Hammer Strength machines I love so much. I think the 6 weeks off from the gym is going to do me some good. I'll use the time to rehab my shoulders as well as build my aerobic base.
So we all love the SDMZ...so where does the MEx come in? I'm just curious because I have a bottle in my cupboard that I ordered back when it was announced that they would no longer be making it.
