Wanted to see what everyone's thoughts are with online trainers and coaching. Are they effective even though you don't have the face to face interaction?
Depends on the coach and the level of detail you give them.. if you lay out every meal and record your workout you may find an online coach effective, but in most cases having a coach/trainer in person will be much more beneficial/effective
I did online coaching and I had to speak to each client on the phone for it to be effective. For a new person, in person sessions are much better. But for someone who needs to dial in nutrition or supplementation, and maybe even a split or rep ranges, online or phone training is super effective.
Most people can benefit from online training if the person they speak to knows the field inside and out
