Hi Guys

I'm currently on an Osta Rx cycle and I love it. had good results so far.
my question is though:

if my diet and my training intensity stays the same will I notice any strength loss after I stop taking the Osta? or does Osta not affect strength levels as much as a PH?
I'm especially interested if I will lose any strength on my 1 rep max.

thanks for the help.

I didn't see much of a dip in strength myself so just keep hammering away brother.

awesome thanks brother. I hit a nice new pr in the deadlift and would hate to go below that again after stopping the osta =)

What's up, fobz?! Glad to see ya back on cycle and knockin out PRs!

thanks eb! glad to be back. hit a 460x1 deadlift PR at 165 pound body weight was pretty happy about that.
hope I can still pull the same weight after stopping the osta =)

what have you been up to?

Trying to stay lean for summer...it's dumb. Btw, I've only had one client that lost any strength after Osta, but that's because he lets his diet and calorie intake slack as soon as he goes off cycle...one of those guys that's only motivated on cycle. So, just eat for strength and you'll be good to go!

tell me about it. I'm in a constant battle between trying to stay lean but also wanting to get strong haha(and I also love food)
.
awesome thanks for the input. I will definitely keep my cals and training up. I have a friend that is the same way as the client you described. I don't understand it because if you slack after the cycle you'll lose a lot that you worked hard for.

Exactly.

Fobz, how far into the cycle were you when you noticed strength increase? I saw one user here say they usually kick in around day 9, but I'm beginning week 3 and haven't really seen any gains, yet. I'm hoping that changes this week because I wasn't thinking when I ordered and only got 1 bottle to try, so at 3/day there's only enough to run for 4 weeks, not 6.

Also, how much over maintenance are you eating? I, too, am trying to balance strength and leanness, but seem to be losing both battles (probably water retention/bloating, but I'm up 9lb and almost an inch on my waist in these 2 weeks)... I was going to reduce calories, but maybe I'll hold off.

Hmmm...I don't know, man...something definitely sounds off...perhaps with your diet? I notice strength (and even some muscle fullness) in the first week with Osta. But Osta isn't a gainer like the PHs...so 9 lbs seems like a lot, and an inch on the waist isn't what you want. To have those type of gains WITHOUT strength seems odd. Are you possibly eating food that may not be agreeing with you? For example, if you were to be eating too many carbs, especially simple carbs, you may feel lethargy instead of strength...and the carbs would have you holding water, which sounds like may be the case...? Let us know!

I agree with eb that does sound off. I usually notice more fullness and vascularity within 2 weeks.
strength on osta for me is not necessarily that I can suddenly lift more weight it's more of a strength endurance with osta. so I can go for more reps and longer workouts and my recovery gets better. I can really feel an increase in recovery and endurance usually by week 3. I am trying to stay around maintenance or around 100 to 200 cals above. sometimes I'm below and sometimes I go a little overboard haha. usually on squat and deadlift days I eat more. I also try to just eat complex carbs and healthy fats. also keep your protein intake high.

unfortunately today was my last dose of Osta. gonna start Ultra Male and will run it the next 4 weeks to get my test back up to normal. I have some nolva as well should I use it or is the UM enough?

The UM will be enough for an Osta PCT.

Thanks, fellas. Yes, my diet is a bit off-track at the moment. My appetite has been voracious lately and its been quite a struggle trying to control it. Some days I can, other days I give in.

I have noticed endurance over the last week or two, but attributed it to the addition of a new pre-WO, since I was looking for an increase in raw strength like with PH.
