Let’s talk about the idea of the special invite. Because you guys know from my many articles over the years that I’m not a fan of the practice. I think the special invite waters down the playing field of a competition that is known as the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding. One of the few things that were real from Pumping Iron is that the Olympia was supposed to be the show where guys that had won the Universe, the World Championships, maybe the European Championships, would get together and battle it out to be the best of the best. That’s why it’s called the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding. It wasn’t supposed to be an event where guys could qualify through points as was the case up until recently.

Without question, we’ve had far too many bodybuilders die over the last few years. And we’re not talking about old individuals who lived a long life and died of natural causes. We are talking about tragic losses of bodybuilders who are in their 30s and even younger. But is bodybuilding the most dangerous sport out there?

Larry Wheels a very well known fitness influencer has been always surrounded with a back and forth controversy. In this video Nick Trigili chimes in on his take about the newest developments. This is the INSIDE Story.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve written off Big Ramy ever stepping back on stage. In fact, I’d go as far as to say he’s the new Kai Greene of the industry. Sure, Kai was recently spotted doing a guest-posing at a show where he was painted like some sort of zebra or something (it was weird), but other than that, he’s been MIA for quite some time now after teasing the industry for years of a return to the Olympia stage.

Sometimes the stroke of a pen can mean the difference between simply getting by and changing your career. The sport of bodybuilding is one that has a lot to do with being at the right place at the right time and knowing when to strike the metal while it’s hot. Some athletes have managers, but the vast majority have to fend for themselves. They have to be their own financial planner, their own financial advisor, and sometimes even their own coach. This is not a sport for folks that like to procrastinate.

By now everyone has heard and/or seen Milos Sarcev’s meltdown on Xavier Wills of Desktop Bodybuilding. Milos also had a similar blowout with Ivan Bodybuilding over a story that went out dealing with a competitor he worked with. The difference between the two breaks, however, is Desktop Bodybuilding had a record of the conversation, released their take of what happened, and included the audio/video for the world to see.
