Keone Pearson Wins The 212 Olympia

In what amounted to one of the hardest battles of any 212 Olympia in history, Keone Pearson faced off against 2x 212 Mr. Olympia Shaun “The Giant Killer” Clarida and emerged the victor. This was a contest where both guys were ultra-ripped, huge (proportionally), and battling it out for every pose. The judges posed them continuously and I do believe they had a look from every possible angle.

Derek Lunsford Wins The Olympia

Derek Lunsford has become the 18th man to hold the Olympia title and his road to the top spot in the sport of bodybuilding has certainly been a noteworthy one. From winning the NPC USA Championships to making Top 5 at his first pro show. This up-and-coming bodybuilder then went on to place 5th in his 212 Olympia debut. Soon he was battling for the spot in that division, ultimately winning the title.

Phil Heath Hosts Olympia PPV

7x Mr. Olympia Phil Heath is back! Sort of. The famed bodybuilding champion who defeated Jay Cutler and contained the likes Kai Greene and Big Ramy, is back at the 2023 Olympia Weekend. Only he won’t be competing, he’ll be hosting the Pay Per View. I’m not certain how many numbers this production gets, as those stats are probably top secret, but I can tell you that Jake Wood and his team invest all kinds of money into bringing the Superbowl of Bodybuilding to any and all that pay for this amazing package deal.

Could Kai Greene Make a Comeback?

If you’ve been on the message boards as of late, then you’re well aware of rumors of a possible Kai Greene comeback in 2024. In fact, similar rumors have been surfacing of a Phil Heath comeback. The sport of bodybuilding finds itself in a very interesting situation. With Big Ramy officially out of the Olympia and the two still-active Mr. O’s on the Olympia stage in reigning champion Hadi Choopan and 2019 champion Brandon Curry are both more or less are out of the handicappers‘ predictions to win the 2024 Sandow. It’s created a sort of vacuum that the sport really hasn’t seen in recent memory.
