We are at what seems like a breaking point with bodybuilding these days. While it seemed like the judging for bodybuilding was pumping the brakes a little on the size of bodybuilders and going back to a more aesthetic physique, they awarded Big Ramy the Sandow yet again. My question is, what if Chris Bumstead entered Men’s Open?

There aren’t a lot of surprises in the fitness industry; however, when 212 Mr. Olympia Shaun “The Giant Killer” Clarida announced he’d do the 2021 Legion Sports Fest this coming in weekend, it sent shockwaves throughout the industry, especially because the champ would be competing in the Open Division. Although he’s not leaving the 212 Division, this announcement is significant for a number of reasons. For starters, Clarida is one of the most blue collar bodybuilders there is and after hearing his fans rave and rave about how he should throw his hat into the Open, he figured why not?

I’m constantly reading books and watching YouTube videos to learn new things and get new ideas for content topics as well as to better my life (on many different levels). The other night, I was watching a video from a buddy of mine which was actually discussing the topic of money and finances (his name is Matt Sapaula, and he has the 7 Figure Squad YouTube channel). The topic he discussed was financial accountability and how it can get you closer to or further away from your financial goal of becoming financially free.

Who would have thought that in the span of a couple of years, we would be looking back on some of the biggest losses our industry and the fitness community has experienced? We’ve lost icons like Franco Columbu, Rich Piana, Luke Sandow, Matt Porter, George Peterson, John Meadows, and Dallas McCarver, to name a few (there are more and no disrespect to those not named). The amazing part that comes from such sadness is the legacy all of these individuals have left behind.
