Will Lee Priest Return to Bodybuilding?

by Christian Duque

It’s been nearly a decade and a half since Lee Priest has competed on a real bodybuilding stage. He’s had some stints here or there, but it’s been a very long time since the people have been able to see the Australian phenom, with the greatest arms in the business, battle it out on stage with the best. I still can remember a time, when Priest was truly a giant killer, taking on the likes of Chris Cormier and best them.

How Will Technology Change the Fitness Industry?

by Matt Weik

When you look at all of the things we can do today compared to 10 or even 20 years ago, you can’t help but have your mind blown. Can We Improve Our Inheritable Traits?

by Geoff Roberts

One’s genetic gifts are the undisputed king in regards to success in bodybuilding. Despite what most young people in our industry believe today, via watching bozo morons on social media, steroids do not reside on this kingly throne. While genetics play a pivotal role in all sports, they are particularly essential in bodybuilding. This begs the question, at least in my mind, can a person improve or enhance bodybuilding specific traits which they will then pass on, via decades of existing as a high level bodybuilder?

Athletes Are Born or Built?

by Matt Weik

For me, personally, the answer to this is a no-brainer. But there may be people out there who think differently about the subject. So, I thought it would be a cool little article to put down what my thoughts are, see if they align with yours, and open up the dialogue a little bit in the comments. What if Flex Wheeler Had Won the ‘98 Mr. Olympia?

by Christian Duque

Any statement that starts with the words “what if,” is always interesting. It’s fun to speculate as to what may have happened in some alternate reality, with the benefit of hindsight. Up until 1998, Dorian Yates had the Olympia on lockdown, much like his predecessor, Lee Haney did. Both Lee and Dorian, like Ronnie later, would set the standard by which all other bodybuilders could only aspire to reach.

If you love movies, music, and/or appreciate contemporary, American pop culture, then the name Mark Wahlberg should inspire many different, positive reactions. When I think of Mark, I remember his music from the 90’s, I remember watching him as the lead singer of the band Steel Dragon in the movie, Rockstar, and I almost immediately think of Boston.

Keep Your Money for Retirement – Not Illness

by Matt Weik

I can’t tell you how many people I have watched succumb to illness late in life due to poor lifestyle choices. They saved up tons of money so they can retire wealthy and do whatever they wanted for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, a good chunk of their money is now going into medications, doctors visits, treatments, and financially draining medical bills. You see, something as simple as moving more and eating less could have saved them years of their life, but they had the mentality of “it’ll never happen to me.” Until it does.
