Deako's Journey to Shred!

SO I am going to continue this log, as I am going to be running EPITREN again starting Saturday! Any Ways the mods can change the name to just "Deako's Journey to Shred" ???? As of today I have exactly 31.5 days until contest... I am running EPITREN to ACS as a hardener... I have some letro just in case for any potential "titty" issues... I am pumped about this because I am very lean now, but I know that I still have some places to go!

Sounds good!

So where I am at today since the last update:

Currently 5'9" 168.6lbs. The pic in the blue shorts (attached) is the most recent of my condition... per the hand held body-fat calculator thingy, my bf% is 6.8.

I am in contest prep, with a contest day is Sept. 27. I am doing men's physique. I have been dieting for 25+ weeks now. I train 6 days per week. I am doing 4 cardio sessions: 2-30 minute medium intensity (AM) and 2-HIIT sessions.

Nutrition:

Currently just got my carbs cut so my 5 "normal" days are 2055Cal 55F 160C and 230P. My 2 "refeeds" per week at 2425Cal 45F 320C 185P. I have just done 2 normal days, and I will have a refeed tomorrow, then do 2 normal days, and then refeed on Saturday, then 3 normal days... you get the trend.

Cycle:
3 caps/day EPITREN
2 caps/day ACS
AI on hand is Letro (will only use if needed)
PCT:
Clomiphene
2 caps/day ACS
3g DAA twice per day

Let me know if you have any questions and I will be uploading progress pics etc.

Just got a memo from my coach adding in a 3rd - 30 minute Medium intensity cardio session per week... poops.

Good work! Would you mind sharing who your coach is? If not, that's cool...you're obviously in good hands. Keep it up!

His name is Stan Beres Jr. out of Philadelphia area... He is super easy to work with and I enjoy working with him. Could not be happier!

Thanks for the kind words EB! Out of curiosity, how would you approach a post contest rebound nutritionally to gain lean mass?

I would slowly increase cals and carbs, gradually moving to maintenance, and eventually a surplus. Everyone is different in how they gain fat, so carbs would have to be monitored carefully (some people need to stay low carb year round). And some can only cap their cals at 200-250 over maintenance, while others can easily go 500-1000 over maintenance. All the more reason to take things slow to gauge the results.

I was thinking strongly about the reverse dieting method and slowly adding in fat and carbs one - two weeks at a time... but we will see... I am still pondering... thanks for the advise and kind wordds!

So I woke up and hit up that M.I.S.S. for 30 minutes after downing the dusty hanshaw special, 16oz Monster Zero (white can) + 1 scoop Compete (BCAA"S), while on the way to the gym... Rocked out to some Blake Shelby "MONSTA" with the windows down and sun roof open to help me wake up... it was a brisk 61 degrees this morning... lol

61 degrees?! You lucky bastard! I can't wait for Fall!

Yea so I just added the sleep/gh from Prime Nutrition to help me sleep at night... first night was 2 nights ago... 1 scoop tasted good... knocked me out but when i got the gut punch from my bladder at 1:30 AM i had a hard time going back to sleep.... Last night I took 2 scoops... knocked my ass out... I got up at 1:30 again, puppy this time... took a pee, laid back down... and I was OUT. I think i found my tolerance!

last night I did some shoulders and calves... My shoulders were burning hard... yet for some reason I cannot get a sweat rolling in the gym i go to... I think my body is not adjusting well to the lower body fat % and the AC... because even at home, I am rocking sweat pants and a hoodie and comfy and then I go out with the dogs and am sweating like hell... funny thing the house is set at 74 and the AC still runs occasionally... idk... im all jacked up!

Tonight Ill be rocking arms in a sweet new tank ... well, it might be covered in a sweatshirt so i dont get goosebumps.. .LOL but I am also doing HIIT... (booooo)... so we will see how today goes... pretty pumped for pics tomorrow as this week with lowered carbs plus increased cardio, I think my physique may look better than last week... i hope...

Sorry for all of the random posts... I am slightly scatter brained this morning... LOL

74?!??!?! I start sweating at like 76 lol

Thats what it was set at all summer... and prior to my reduced fat levels I was always warm, but I am FREEZING now... all the time!

For me it's not even the heat, it's the humidity. I keep my house at the same temp as my gym. I'm fine in my house; once I get to the gym, where people are going in and out of the front doors, and in and out of the pool...it makes the gym a fucking sauna. I stand there for hours at a time training clients and sweating through my PT clothes. I can't wait to get to Vegas in a few weeks where it's dry as hell.

Dry heat is wonderful... i loved San Diego when I went there because of the dry heat!
