Halo Extreme - Cutting Cycle

Ready to give it another go. Going to run Halo at 75mg for 40 days (2 bottles). Going to start off with some left over Life Support by AI Sports Nutrition and eventually change to ACS from IML.

I'm just ordering my ACS, 4-Andro, & E-Control from IML and have UM and Nolva left over. The Life Support is 4 caps daily (2am, 2pm) so I'm planning to have my day run like this:

6 AM - 2 Caps Halo-Extreme
11 AM - Life Support
6 PM - 1 Cap Halo-Extreme
10/11 PM - Life Support

After 10 days I'll add in a cap of 4-andro with each of my Halo dosages.

For PCT I plan on doing 4 weeks of Nolva 40/40/20/20 with UM ED. Middle of PCT I will start E-Control and continue to take for 2 weeks after ending my SERM to prevent Estrogen rebound.

Current diet is 2100 cals - 70f/150c/210p

Looking to get as close to 10/12 % BF as I can, which I figure should be around 180 or so weight wise. Currently around 195/200 (last time I was air displacement checked at 19%. 160 LBM 40 pounds fat).

Hey lat, question for ya. When on dmz do you take an AI at all? Or prami/caber? Have any issues with gyno?

I didn't take an AI or prami/caber on SDMZ or after. Just Clomid + tudca for PCT.

I never had gyno issues before.

On your macros, if you feel you need more CHO/fat you could lower your protein a bit from 210g and up CHO/fats and remain @2100 kcals.

Howarth, stop being so paranoid, haha! An AI such as E-Control or Exemestane is only needed if you start getting some gyno symptoms (itchy, painful nipps...and don't touch them often). Prami/Caber is for prolactin gyno from progestins such as tren or deca...not SDMZ. You're good, man!

I just like to be cautious.. I do have Epi-Tren but I'll let you tell me all about that when I finally run it :P


Took 2 caps am 1 cap pm btw and all is well. Didn't lift today but hitting shoulders tomorrow!

Hey guys I'm looking for a new routine for this cutting cycle - I like to lift as much as i can during cycle and the routine I was doing is kind of off and on in terms of lifting days (Kris Gethin 12 week). This routine is 5x a week an hour each time (30min lift, 30 cardio) so I'm not sure that's going to be intense enough..

What do you guys think of it?

I tend to cringe at anything from bb.com, but usually any powerbuilding workout is good to go, so you can check out Mike O'Hearn's Powerbuilding...just Google it...I don't want to link anything from bb.com.

Haha I don't understand the hate! My friend gives me shit for it all the time as well.

That feeling when on m-sten you bull crap formed a 405 deadlift but now you have to go back to 225 to prevent putting yourself in a wheel chair...

Howarth, on bb.com there are really two way different views of workouts and nutrition.

One is the pages of the guys out to make cash and write workout/nutrition articles. (Generally unscientific bullshit especially when it comes to Nutrition)

The other is the forum.

In there you will have guys with PhDs in Nutrition that give info backed up with scientific studies.

Also in the forum there are experienced lifters and proven workout programs designed for results not cash.

This section of bb.com (the forum area) especially in the Nutrition, Exercises and Workout programs area are not out to make a profit unlike the other section.
 
I don't get how the workouts could be like that though. I do my own nutrition and supplements but how can a workout be bunk and designed only for marketing

Compare those to the ones written by the regular members in the forum and see what you like.

The workouts may be kinda similar but what I was getting at mostly is the Nutrition marketing part is a lot based on broscience not researched science.
 
How is cycle going so far :p

Mak far so good. Waist is at 33 inches, I believe I am aiming for 31 or so. Still have the love handles and spare tire :( but I'm sure they'll bd gone soon. Weighing in at around 195. Been off yesterday and today, chest tomorrow!

no sides of anything I've noticed so far. Believe I'm on day 5

What ab work are you doing?

So I take it you're eating below TDEE?
 
yeah below tdee. Doing sit ups everyday.
Ok great, in addition you could add in weighted:

Rope crunch (upper/lower abs)
Lying bench leg raises (lower)
Woodchoppers (obliques)

These really changed my abs, I was doing the sit ups before.

Just a thought! Do what works best and keep posting progress here

One one thing that really killed my abs was using a decline bench and doing reverse crunches. Really felt it Doing those

Hey Lat should I be doing "refeed" days like once a week or so, or only if my weight loss stalls? Refeed being like pretty high carb, low fat, high protein.

Depends on how long you have been cutting. Usually more beneficial when bf% has gotten lower and/or you are well into the cut awhile.

Besides the metabolism adaption to cutting, there's also a benefit from getting leptin levels to rise; they lower when eating in caloric deficits.

Got a free sample of this a while back and tried it out today. Took 3 caps pre workout on an empty stomach as directed. The pump was fantastic! As was my vascularity. Could literally feel my chest swell up and my shirt became tighter! Used it with my Pre-Workout as well. Never really used a "nitro" booster before and I have no idea what that really means anyway, haha.

So far so good! No sides or anything to complain about. Waist is starting to look very appealing to me in terms of my taper. Really liking how narrow to wide it goes when I flare my lats :) Weighed in this morning at 193. Hoping I don't get too small before I get some definition. I should be around 180 in order to be at 10% body fat, in a perfect world.

Yeah, the pump from Nitro 4 and Max Pump Extreme is friggin bananas! Sounds like your cycle's going well. Btw, don't get too hung up on shooting for a specific bodyweight. Often times our end result whether bulking or cutting is no where near the number we had in mind!
