Halo Extreme - Cutting Cycle

yes thats fine, it's active half life is about a day and a half

I'm leaning up nicely but I'm not sure if I'll be as cut up as I want by the time PCT comes around... Idk if I've made anything I could lose but I've been told I should go back to maintenance at least for PCT but then after could I go back to a defecit? Theres a competition in like mid april I may try to take part in (would I pass a test by then if I should be finished with PCT in mid march?) Also do they test for clen / how long does that take to clear out?

You're not doing a natural show are you?

My friend was telling me about it and I just checked today... It is a natural one. Would it be a shitty thing to do if I did that one? It's just a novice... Since I've done PHs should I only try and compete in "non natural" ones? Even if I haven't been on anything for a while?

Not being on for a while means like 5-7+ yrs OFF cycle. Competition is an experience, a learning experience the first few times..

Well i I guess what I'm trying to say is. Is it like a shitty thing to compete naturally wen though I've taken PHs. Like would I still test positive after a month or so after I finish my pct?

Beside urinalysis, some organizations implement lie detector tests. I would just move on to NPC.

Gotcha, not sure I'd be ready at that time either. Anyway, I know you've told me a million times but after my pct (I should be at maintenance, right?) can I go back to straight to cutting right away if I'm not as lean as I'd like yet? Do I need to do maintenance for pct? Also can I use clen while not on anything (ph wise)?

Hate to say it, but I'm actually looking forward to eating some more food haha! 80 mcg today and all is well. Been feeling a little cold lately though, but I'm in the North-West so that might be normal. Slight headache last night. Plan on getting some Potassium (maybe taurine) supplements this weekend to help with that. Hands shaking a little bit, nothing drastic though. Weighed in at 185 this morning!

100mcg today and felt fine. Headaches have subsided and haven't had too bad of chills. As my skin tightens up around my top abs and they're starting to become visible I'm worried that my lower belly is infact mostly skin and won't go away :( but only time will tell! Gotta get back on my cardio as well...

Where are you at with calories ?

How much below TDEE ?

I'm eating 2000 calories right now. 225P/125C/67F

I think my TDEE is probably around 2700/2800... Is that too low..? Even being on PH/Clen?

I just wanted to get as lean as I can from this cycle. I figured I'd be safe since I'm on all this gear and high protein

Steep deficit but you won't be eating at this too low amount too long right?

and your protein is high enough so should be ok.

ive probably got around a week left or so for my on cycle phase. When I hit PCT I'm gonna move to maintenance.

btw lat, when you're not on anything what's the consensus for protein intake? 1g/# of body weight or lbm? Or .8?

Gonna start some SDMZ in few weeks, battling sinus crap, urrgh.

Research shows .82g/lbs as the minimums for mps (some research had this as low as .6g/lbs) however during cutting/deficit I always get at least 1g/lbs or little more.

Is that research done on people using anabolics? Steroids increase protein synthesis and improves calorie utilization. Meaning our geared brethren can benefit by utilizing a greater amount of protein that wouldn't be necessary for a natural athlete

They use the term bodybuilder but don't specifically mention steroids.

Here's the link to the studies:

http://bayesianbodybuilding.com/the-myth-of-1glb-optimal-protein-intake-for-bodybuilders/

I read to here
The only people that may actually need more protein than 0.82g/lb are people with unusually high levels of anabolic hormones. Androgen or growth hormone users definitely fall into this category, but I don’t exclude the possibility that some adolescents do too. If you reach peak testosterone production while still growing (in height), your unusually high levels of growth hormone and testosterone might increase your protein requirements. Or not. There’s no research to support it. Those rare individuals with amazing bodybuilding genetics could also qualify, but unless your father happens to be a silverback gorilla, you are most likely just like other humans in this regard.

Dunno if that would apply to myself as I don't take unusually high anabolics and don't exceed 4weeks at a time but if peeps are doing unusually high anabolics then they would benefit according to this. Still I don't know even non enhanced lifters who eat that low in protein, most exceed the 1g/lbs.

Abnormally high, would be that in doses greater than therapeutically necessary. ie. 100-200mg test cyp every 1 - 2 weeks. Even a low dose of just about any oral will have more significant effect in respect to standard prescribed test dosages

Oh that's true. Thanks.

I was gonna ask what you thought unusually high meant.

I assume the average ph user of 4 weeks wouldn't benefit from the higher protein (I certainly don't increase it way high and I got results) and the researched amount would be sufficient for MPS however, again, most all of us consume probably more than the research indicates.

Always best to be a bit above especially when on and cutting.

Another 100mcg today! Not sure if I'm gonna go to 120 or not... Sides are pretty much just some hand shaking. Headaches / coldness subsided so it feels pretty nice! Really feels good doing some cardio with it. and to think I've got another week left of the clen!

How's the weight looking, tightening up alot in abs?
