First Cycle, Halo Extreme / Epi-Andro Log

Day 23 4/7/14
Training
Chest & Tri’s (super sets)
Flat Bench Dumbbell – 5 sets plus warmup
Incline bench Dumbbell / one arm tricep extension – 4 super sets
Dumbbell flyes / Tricep rope pulldown – 4 super sets
Close Grip Barbell Bench press / BW push ups to failure – 4 supersets
BW dips / One Arm Cable pulldowns – 4 super sets

Overall Feeling
Big time energy and strength today. Every time I thought I was getting close to failure I was able to push out 2-3 more reps. I had literally gotten myself to the point where I couldn’t do a single bodyweight dip or pushup, but when I left the gym I didn’t feel exhausted. I actually felt as though I didn’t do enough! My entire upper body is feeling noticeably tighter and I’m starting to see noticeable change in composition as well.

Side Effects
Feeling good. Still looking out for the sensitive nips, but they seem to be ok at the moment.

Day 24 4/8/14
Training
Back and Bi’s (super sets)
One arm bent over row / ez bar curls – 4 supersets plus warmups
Lat pulldowns / 1 arm cable curls – 4 supersets
Bent over pull overs / dumb bell hammer curls - 4 supersets
One arm cable rows – 4 sets
Zottman Curls – 4 sets
Bent over barbell rows – 4 sets

Overall Feeling
I’m starting to feel like a much younger man again. I’m training harder with much more energy and intensity and not feeling drained afterwards. Well.. at least for a little while, when bed time comes I crash pretty hard. lol But that’s not a bad thing. I do believe that I had my first experience with back pumps today? They seemed mild, in comparison to things I’ve read, but they sucked nonetheless. Twice during today’s routine I started cramping up in the lower back on the right side. The second time it caught me a little off guard and I had to put the weights down and walk it off and stretch a little bit. Being a noob, I’m really unsure whether it was actually a back pump from the cycle or just a random muscle cramp. Guess we’ll see.

Also got my first remark today from one of the regulars I see. “Dude, you’ve really thickened up in the chest and shoulders.” Thanks, now my head is swole too!! Lol.. really though, it was nice hear somebody say they can tell I’ve added a little size.

Side Effects
Nips still seem ok. Had some cramps in the lower back today, unsure if was sides from the cycle or not.

Meh, just stay hydrated and keep stretching to keep any possible pumps at bay.

Day 25 4/9/14
Training
I will be repeating Sunday – Tuesday on Wednesday – Friday.
Shoulders, Abs, Forearms

Overall Feeling
I’ve been lifting heavy since Saturday with no rest days and it’s starting to fatigue me a little. I was a little sluggish when I arrived at the gym, but once I got warmed up my energy quickly elevated. It’s amazing how much I come alive once I get the blood flowing. Did a quick 45 minute relay of shoulders, abs, forearms, then rest for 45 seconds and repeat. I was drenched when I left and felt good. Got home, had a PWO shake, showered, ate dinner, and then crashed super hard. LoL. Good stuff. I’m curious to see if I can make it to the end of this marathon and then have a big day on legs Saturday.

Side Effects
Feeling good. None of the previous symptoms have surfaced again.

Day 26 4/10/14
Training
Chest & Tri’s (super sets)

Overall Feeling
I absolutely killed it today. 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] chest day of the week and I snatched the 105 lb dumbbells for 4 presses and then got two more on the second attempt. I felt like a monster. They guy I asked to spot my asked what I was doing to gain strength and it sparked a conversation about IML products. Maybe I’ll be sending a new customer this way. I wish I would have been able to control my diet better. Lifting this heavy (for me) just has me eating everything in sight, and I’m putting some serious mass on and people are starting to notice. I don’t think my body fat is dropping much though. :( I’ll have to concentrate on that during my off-cycle, I suppose. I’m really enjoying the strength boosts though. I finally feel like I have bought a product that actually works!!

Side Effects
Not having any issues that I’m aware of.

Day 27 4/11/14
Training
Back & Bi’s (super sets)

Overall Feeling
I’m really starting to feel the fatigue from this attempt at pushing myself to overtrained before resting. I’m a bit sore, achy, and tired.. but it all seems to disappear once I put some iron in my hands. Today was no exception. Had a huge back day and went heavier than I did on Tuesday. As I’m sitting in the bed typing this on my laptop, I can’t help but to think about how miserable I’m going to be in the squat box tomorrow. This is day 7 in a row with no rest and tomorrow is leg day, so you know it’s going to be serious ‘bidness’!!

Side Effects
Nothing to report

Day 28 4/12/14
Training
Legs

Overall Training
I’m simply amazed.. I’m exhausted and by all rights I should have dragged ass today. The opposite happened; I think I just had my best day on legs ever!! My one rep squat max was 225 at the start of this cycle. Today, I did 3x225, 1x245, and then 1x255!!! Grant it, I didn’t get as deep as I normally do on the 255, but it was deep enough to call it a full squat and be proud. I was super pumped today after I got those reps. I’ve been struggling on breaking that plateau forever it seems. And I have the video to prove it! Haha Think I can proudly say that I’ve earned a day off and plan on taking a full rest day tomorrow.

Side Effects
Nothing to report.

Great stuff, man! Glad you're telling others about IML, too! Make sure they get their discount codes...;)

Day 24 4/13/14
Training
Rest

Overall Feeling
Felt guilty all day for not going to the gym. I figured after 8 days of lifting with no breaks I was due for a day to let the body recoup a bit. All day I felt fine, like I hadn’t even been to the gym and needed to go. Recovery is simply amazing. This may be my last “off” day until the cycle ends next week. Feel like I’ve wasted a day.

Side Effects
Nothing

Day 25 4/14/14
Training
Shoulders, Abs, Forearms

Overall Feeling
Felt great. Another awesome day of lifting. I had another buddy start conversation with me today about how much I’ve “swelled up” which led to me filling him in on IML products. While I don’t mind these conversations normally, it’s becoming frequent and starting to interfere with my workouts. Lol It’s definitely a good feeling that people are not only noticing, but taking the time to tell me so.

I’m still amazed by the recovery. I lift until I can’t lift anymore, I have a good pump, muscles feel like they’re ripping through my skin and few hours later I feel like I didn’t do enough. Hahah Good stuff.

Side Effects
Nothing. None of the previous symptoms have resurfaced.

Day 26 4/15/14
Training
Chest & Tri’s

Overall Feeling
The past few chest days I’ve been bumping the dumbbell weight on my flat bench max set. Today was no different. A friend who I felt comfortable with on spots was there, so I decided after warming up I was going to try the 110’s. Last week I got the 105’s for two sets of 4 so surely I can get at least one rep of the 110’s, right? Wrong, I threw them beeches up for 4 reps! Hah Went for a second set and got 4 more, but the spotter was definitely helping on the second round. First set was all me though. It’s unbelievable the jumps I’m making in the dumbbell press. That’s 15 lbs in each hand since I’ve started the cycle. Next week I will get under the barbell and see what I can max now. 245lb bench was my 1 rep max before the cycle, and that required a small amount of assistance from the spotter. It will be interesting to see what I get next week.

Side Effects
Euphoric feeling of bad-assery. ;) lol, really though. Nothing negative to report.

Day 27 4/16/17
Training
Back & Bi’s

Overall Feeling
Tons of energy. Got to the gym and went hard and heavy. Adding weight to most exercises and still keeping 6-8 rep sets. Towards the end of my workout I got in another conversation with a few guys about what “supplements” I was taking. Guess the word is getting out and people seem interested. I finished off my day a little earlier than I had planned, but still felt comfortable with what I had gotten done before engaging in chit chat with some of the other gym rats. J

Side Effects
Nothing

That's what these products are bad-assery lol good word gotta use it for now on

The last few days I’ve had a lot going on and training has been a little spotty. I’ve been continuing to have great work outs and consistently trying to push myself harder as I near the end of my 6 week cycle. Saturday I went for 10 more pounds on my squat and failed. Still had a good day, despite that. Sunday on the other hand, I grabbed the 115 lb dumbbells and got two reps without a spot. So that was another increase over last week. Thursday will be my last day of Halo/Epi-Andro and I am planning to go in Wednesday, since I’ll be rested and see what I can get on the barbell flat bench press. 245, with a little help from spotter, was all I could must before I started. I’m hoping that will have improved significantly. Seeing as I just did 230lbs with dumbbells, I’m pretty sure I’m going to crush that 245. Will update again tomorrow or Thursday.

Kill it, brotha!

Glad u are loving the IML products! I cannot say I have taken any others that top them... both the PH's and non PH's.. quality chit right here!

Ok, I slacked on the last few days of my journal. (Not in the gym) My last day of the on cycle was this past Thursday, April 24th. I am very happy with the results and am curious to see how much of it I keep over the next 6 weeks of PCT.

1. The weirdest thing is, I gained absolutely no weight. This is a good thing, because to be quite honest, I ate like crap most of my cycle. While making sure I was in the 250g protein range, I paid attention to nothing else. Devouring anything in sight. Ice cream, Mac & Cheese, pastas, etc. I actually stayed relatively the same weight. I weighed in at 214 lbs Friday morning ( originally starting at 213 ) and my BF test on the same machine I used previously had dropped 2%, from 21 to 19. Had I been tighter on the diet and counting macro's like I should have, I could have probably leaned out a lot more! I intend to work on diet over the PCT and off cycle time to be better prepared for round 2. Oh yea, IML has proven itself to me and I'm sold on the product. Will definitely continue to be a customer. ;)

2. My Sqaut max jumped 30 lbs over the course of the cycle. I was at 225 with a little help from a spotter, this past Saturday I got parallel with 255 lbs and got it back up with no spot. I've been stuck trying to overcome that 225 mark for a long time. This cycle not only helped me get through that, but blow it out of the water. It feels so nice to be able to do multiple reps @ 225 now.

3. I went in this past Wednesday, 4/23/14, to do a 1 rep max on the bench press (barbell). At first I was disappointed here, let me explain. I started at 245 for a max, and in getting this max the spotter had to give me a little bit. Wednesday, I was only able to get 260 without any spotter help. After thinking back on it, I don't know why I would have used this exercise as a measurement of gains. Because I didn't train on the barbell bench for the entire 6 weeks I was on cycle. I trained on dumbbells! So it's a much more fair comparison to list my starting and ending dumbbell press, right? Even though they're both chest exercises, they are different variations and require different lifting techniques, I figured one would transition to the other (it did a little, I guess). I was wrong! lol

Let me get to the point, I saw huge gains in chest on the dumbbell press. Before I started, I was getting 2-4 reps with the 95lb dumbbells at the top of the pyramid. On Sunday, 4/20/14 I pressed the 115 lb dumbbells for 2 clean reps with no spot and got the video to prove it! haha ;) A lot of the people I work out with were seriously impressed by me getting those 115's up, as was I.

So I guess now, is the part I wasn't looking forward to. I will properly PCT, and then I'll take the recommended time off before starting my next cycle. I will probably be asking around the forums for some recommendations on a what a good 2nd run will be. Also, I'm curious.. During my off cycle, is it ok for me to take things to help me lean out as long as they're not anabolic? Like razor cuts or something?

Absolutely! Our pre-workout, Maximum Pump would be perfect for you! It will help with focus, energy, and motivation during your PCT (when so many people get down on themselves). Also, I don't advise dieting during PCT, you don't want to lose the muscle and strength you just gained. Try to at least stay at your maintenance cals...and continue to train hard! Next thing you know, you'll be ready to jump back on cycle. Hit me up if you need help with anything. And feel free to keep logging during PCT for extra motivation and accountability! :)

Awesome, I appreciate the advice and I will check back in from time to time to just update the log during PCT. Probably not as frequently as I did while on cycle though. I will stay at maintenance levels with eating, I just wanted to clean up the calories a little. Was getting a lot of dirty calories during the last 3 weeks and I need to stop. lol More veggies, less ice cream! ;)

I will check out that pre-workout.

After looking at some information, I've decide to run my PCT a tad differently than I originally posted. I've already done a week of Nolva & ACS, I'm going to continue these for two more weeks while starting E-control & Ultra Male for week 8-11. Doing a 5 week PCT instead of 6. So my PCT will be as follows:

PCT

Week 7 -9
20ml Nolvadex before bed

Weeks 8-11
3x Advanced Cycle Support before bed3x E-Control daily, spread out between morning, day, & night
2x Ultra Male daily, one upon waking and one in the evening ( dinner time )

EDIT: I'm running the ACS through the whole PCT. Weeks 7-11

Hey Eb, if you see this I would love to hear some feedback if you see anything wrong with this.

You definitely only need ONE cap of Ultra Male daily!

Ending week 3 of my PCT and I can honestly say I am still feeling really good. I have been working on getting my diet dialed in, 2400 calories a day and keeping carb numbers relatively low, 100-200 a day depending on training. Leg and back days I usually get a little closer to the 200 mark. The only reason I mention this is because even though I've pulled way back on the carbs I am still hitting good numbers. Strength is still right there where it was on week 6 of the cycle. I'm really amazed by the gains and have already decided that I am going to run M-tren for my second go. After appropriate time off, of course. And I'll be a lot more ready for my second cycle in terms of nutrition.

My only complaint with the Halo is that it takes so long to get going. This isn't a knock on the IML product, as that is top notch. It's the attribute of the Halodrol compound from what I read. I think running Halo for 6 weeks at 75mg is the perfect dosage. It's just now, 6 weeks on and 5 weeks PCT puts me at 3 months of no cycling before I can start again. :( I'm anxious to run another and waiting that long is going to suck! lol

You can always bridge between cycles with Osta right after your PCT.

Seems like a good idea. But what are the side effects of Osta? Will it affect my libido any? I assume it's safe for the organs as well if you use it to bridge cycles.

I'm game.. I read the IML page on it, but I want to ask just to be certain. Just run the Osta RX only after my pct? Should I take Advanced Cycle Support with that, or is it not necessary? Also, would you recommend the full 8 weeks of Osta for the bridge?

Rest assured, it will only affect your libido in a positive way!

I take ACS year round, but it's not necessary with Osta. And it's completely your choice on the run time of Osta; depends how soon you want to jump back on PHs.

I was wondering this too. I will have about 3 months before my next cycle. You think it'd be worth the money to maintain/make lean gains with Osta until then? I'm pretty damn religious on my diet. Even cheat meal calories are counted. I'm planning on doing a log for the EpiAndro (8 weeks)/Halo (4 weeks)/Msten (4 weeks). I think I can suffice pretty well naturally.

Money is kind of tight right now, so I guess i'm wondering cost/benefit ratio. I have looked through most of the Osta logs. Looks legit. Just think over 3 months it'd be pricey for me.

Eh...I'm not sure I'd be comfortable running it 12 weeks and THEN jumping on a PH run; even Osta is minimally suppressive..

I actually have run Osta for 12 weeks before, but it was a cycle on it's own, followed up with Ultra Male...just to be on the safe side.

Yeah good point. I think I still have some natural gains to make as well. I'd rather spend money for on cycle than maintaining.

How much time between the Osta and Ph's?? If I finish PCT, run Osta for 4 weeks, then 4 weeks of nothing, then next cycle. Will that count as 8 weeks of 'time off' for PH?
